Terms & Conditions
1. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on the information provided at the time of quoting. If access, surface condition, or job requirements change, the price may be adjusted accordingly.
2. Payment Terms
Payment is due within 7 days of invoice date (unless otherwise agreed in writing). Late payments may be subject to interest at 8% plus the Bank of England base rate, in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, card payment, or cash by prior arrangement.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a 50% charge of the quoted price.
4. Access & Utilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring safe access to the work area. A working outside tap and water supply must be available unless otherwise agreed in advance.
5. Chemicals & Surface Treatments
Where chemicals (e.g. sodium hypochlorite, biocides) are used, they will be applied in line with manufacturer instructions and HSE guidance. Customers must inform us of any sensitive surfaces, plants, pets, or drainage concerns prior to work commencing. While every effort will be made to protect surrounding areas, CSM Surface Solutions cannot be held liable for incidental damage to plants, grass, or finishes caused by chemical treatments.
6. Liability & Guarantees
CSM Surface Solutions will exercise all reasonable care during work. However, we cannot be held responsible for: - Pre-existing damage, wear, or defects (e.g. loose render, faulty pointing, cracked slabs). - Surfaces that fail due to age or condition during or after cleaning/treatment. Certain stains (oil, rust, lichen, etc.) may not be fully removable. No guarantees are made on complete stain removal.
7. Insurance
CSM Surface Solutions holds Public Liability Insurance covering our services. Proof of insurance is available on request.
8. Governing Law
All contracts and agreements are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
